Built for Pro and Elite level players, The Bauer Supreme 2S Pro is taking on a new fit bridging the gap between a traditional pant fit and the previous Supreme girdle fit making it a very well rounded option. While still offering close to body comfort, this ultra lightweight pant spares no protection which features premium materials such as Poron XRD foam and CURV composite.
The Bauer 2S Pro pant features a Pro level 840D Nylon shell with additional overlays in high wear areas for better durability. They’ve also added stretch areas to the inner thigh and crotch which allow the legs to move naturally without restriction.
The thigh guards in the 2S Pro pant are a Hyperlite HD foam. These foam pads are anatomically formed and wrap nicely around the thigh that give a low profile look and feel which move with the body and prevent the pants from rotating during contact.
A segmented lightweight foam package in the hips offers great protection in what is usually a high contact area which doesn’t add any unnecessary weight to the pants.
Tailbone Protection is one of the main focuses in elite level hockey pants and the 2S Pro features Bauer’s Poron XRD foam. This premium foam will keep your rear end well protected if you ever find yourself taking a sudden seat on the ice.
The Bauer 2S Pro pant uses an independent spine protection piece which moves with the body during play and adding CURV composite to the exterior keep the lower spine protected from any unwanted contact.
The molded HD foam in the kidney area offer great protection while hugging the body for a close and comfortable fit.
The belt on the 2S Pro pant is covered by a MD Foam which offers an additional layer of protection between the thighs and kidney pads. Bauer has also added a zippered extension feature which allows the player to add an additional 1” to the overall length.
The inner legs of the 2S Pro pants have an enclosed zipper opening that can be used if the player prefers a looser fit in the thighs. These also make it easier to put the pants on for those that choose to put their skates on before their pants when getting dressed.
