Warrior took the time to fully develop this Ritual mask line, learning from issues with other masks in order to build something capable of working for everybody. While it may be hard for Warrior to break into a market that is dominated by Bauer and CCM, they have built a quality line of masks that are worth considering if looking for a mask for when it comes time to hit the ice again.

Warrior’s pants are built like no other on the market, with a focus on coverage and mobility they’re able to offer a pant that has superior protection and range of motion. This is all thanks to innovative technologies such as AxyCut and Flex Plates as well as materials like  Hypercomp.

With the new flagship Profile mask, Bauer kept the iconic 960 look while incorporating a number of changes to the shell and liner bringing the mask to a new level of protection and comfort. 

While on the surface the Ultrasonic stick may closely resemble its predecessor, Bauer has made several key changes to give this new Supreme stick a more durable construction while maintaining the featherweight feel many goalies are searching for.

From the time Bauer brought cowling-less goal skates to the crease, they’ve been the leading innovator in goal skates. This year they look to build on the strengths of the previous generation 2S Pro, while redesigning several key elements to give the UltraSonic skate an improved fit, lighter weight, and the best attack angle available on the market.

To ring in the new decade, CCM brings us the all-new Axis line of equipment. This line not only waves goodbye to Premier but also parts ways with Lefevre as their gear designer. This new line brings in a ton of major improvements and features to bring out the best in any goalie who wears them.

After releasing their first cowling-less skate last year, the Jetspeed FT2, CCM looks to further improve with the Tacks AS3 Pro goal skate. With a ton of new design elements, CCM has improved this year’s Tacks skate line from all angles.

Bauer is a hockey powerhouse and while they produce some of the best pro gear, including this year's UltraSonic line, they have also improved their second price point line, the Bauer Supreme 3S.

Having already reviewed the UltraSonic series, let’s bring our focus to the Bauer Supreme 3S catch glove and blocker. At an impressive price-point, the 3S glove and blocker sport big improvements in terms of quality and protection, using Bauer’s Curv composite and new Shocklite technology, as well as their Catchlite Palm. To ring in 2020, CCM introduces the new Axis line and moves away from Lefevre and the Premier line. Along with the Axis, CCM introduces the Axis 1.9 and Axis 1.5 as their senior and entry-level pad. Featuring a new flex profile, redesigned boot and lighter core, this pad is sure to impress and perform for any level.
