It features the pro look with a VX Suede palm, flex cuff design, and tapered bottom edge and top board. The blocker is built easy to use for young goaltenders and it’s great for introducing them to the game and the net.
External Material
The SLR3 blocker uses classic jenpro synthetic leather on the exterior. Jenpro is well-known for its superior durability and performance. The tapered top board makes wrist movements easier, and the tapered bottom edge supports paddle down maneuvers. The top blocking board is angled to help the goalie control rebounds and where the puck will go.
Internal Construction
The inside of the blocker is made of high-density foam for good blocking and to deaden impact force as it reaches your hand. The use of HD foam also makes the blocker very lightweight.

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
