True Catalyst 9X5 Senior Goalie Pants

Intro & New Features

As part of the new Catalyst line along with the 2025 season, TRUE has released the all-new 9X5 goalie pants. Designed with comfort and mobility in mind, these pants feature a tapered waist to help with mobility, and a widened waist section. A major upgrade is seen in the spinal area with the patented IBP 3D injected technology.

Hip Protection

The hips on the 9X5 goalie pants are covered with double layered front flex padding. The hip protection is molded into the pants with durable foams to provide goalies with enhanced protection from impacts, helping them prevent any injuries that may occur.

External Material

The external material on the 9X5 pants are constructed of a nylon exterior. The durable nylon helps prevent the pants from getting cuts and holds its shape for longer. Paired with the nylon is a water repellent coating which provides the pants an extra layer of durability and protection.

Thigh Protection

Similar to the hips, the thighs are protected with double layered front flex padding. The durable padding helps the pants protect goalies without restricting movements. There is also an inner thigh padding which is extended to increase protection from impacts in those key areas.

Waist Closure & Internal Belt

True added a widened waist section for easier torso movement when designing the pants. This construction allows the pants to sit properly without the need for constant readjustment. There is also a padded belt to help secure the pants, but also provide comfort and support.

Liner

The inside of the pants feature a mesh lining. The mesh lining has been integrated to provide the pants with ventilation from odours and moisture, while also allowing for a quicker drying process.

Spine Protection

To protect the spine, TRUE added the patented IBP 3D injected technology. This design allows the pants to sit at the lower back, under the chest protector where the padding ends. It is designed to keep goalies protected and secure from impacts that may come at them, while dispersing force away.

Fit

The 9X5 goalie pants feature a tapered fitting waist. This design allows for improved comfort while wearing the pants, and extra mobility so goalies aren’t feeling restricted.

The TRUE Catalyst 9X5 Senior Goalie Pants come in Red, Black, and Navy in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and Extra-Large.
