The Bauer Supreme Fuse Hockey Gloves are the most protective gloves that have been released by Bauer in the last few years. These gloves feature many pro-level specs that make it not only reliable, but durable and protective as well. The Supreme Fuse gloves are designed to be highly protective while promoting mobility, allowing players to not feel restricted while wearing these gloves.
External Material
The gloves are constructed with a Pro Lite Tex and cable mesh exterior, providing a combination of durability and breathability. The Pro Lite Tex material offers excellent resistance against abrasions and wear, while the cable mesh allows for enhanced airflow and ventilation to keep hands cool during gameplay. This combination was seen in the Mach gloves, and on top of providing pro-level durability, the materials are also designed to keep the glove lightweight.
Finger Design & Protection
The fingers are designed with a three-piece segmentation construction. Each piece provides a layer of protection to players so that they aren’t injured from impacts. Bauer designed these gloves with 3-SHOX foam, which is a combination of EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) and Defense Cloud Tech (DCT) foam. This advanced foam blend provides a sturdy and comfortable fit while also offering reliable protection.
Backhand Protection
The backhand of the Bauer Fuse hockey gloves is equipped with 3-SHOX foam, made of EPP and DCT foams. This advanced foam combination provides a sturdy and comfortable fit, ensuring reliable protection for the back of the hand. With the help of EPP foam in the foam’s construction, 3-SHOX is designed to absorb impacts effectively, dispersing the force and minimizing the risk of injuries.
Thumb Design
A new addition to the Supreme line of hockey gloves is the all-new Hyperflex thumb from Bauer. The Hyperflex thumb is designed to be highly protective, reducing the effect of impacts that players can take. This thumb construction is also designed to be mobile, so that players can have mobility and not feel restricted while wearing these gloves.
Cuff Design
The Supreme Fuse gloves feature a new cuffroll shape. The shape is designed to contour the hand and provide a comfortable fit that isn’t too bulky when wearing these gloves. The cuff features AMP (Active Motion Protection) that provides amplified mobility with enhanced wrist protection that adapts with the player’s movements.
Palm Material & Gussets
Bauer designed the palm of these gloves to be comfortable and durable for hockey players. New in Bauer gloves, is the addition of the Connekt-Z palm with overlay. This palm allows the players to have a strong hold on their sticks, while maintaining comfort and protection from impacts. These gloves also feature stretch microsuede gussets which are designed to provide a pro-style control.
Liner
The Bauer Fuse hockey gloves are equipped with a Hypersense finger liner, providing a comfortable and lightweight feel. This liner offers a nice, natural sensation, allowing players to stay focused on the game without distraction. The gloves also feature Thermocore Zero backhand pad, which is an incorporated specially treated yarn treatment that efficiently manages sweat and odour.
Sizes & Colors
The Bauer Supreme Fuse Junior Hockey Gloves come in sizes 10” and 11”. Additionally, they also come in Black, Black/Red, Black/White, Navy, Navy/Red/White, and Red.

Bauer Hockey Gloves Sizing Chart
Player Glove Sizing
To ensure you're purchasing the proper sized glove, one simple measurement using a measuring tape is all it takes to accurately find your size. Place the tip of the tape measure at the top of your middle finger (or which finger is longest) and measure all the way down to the bottom of your palm. Record this measurement and multiply by two. This will be roughly the size of glove you need. Compare your height, weight and age to the charts provided on each model as well to find your best fit.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Growing Players)
If you are including growing room in the glove for a young player, always round the measurement up to the next whole number (ex. 3.2” x 2 = 6.4” -> 7”).
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Growing Players)
To ensure hockey gloves fit properly for a growing hockey player, have them place their hands in the glove with their palms facing up. Have the player place their hand inside the glove as they would if they were wearing the glove in a normal situation. Take your index finger and put it between the top of the player's palm and the edge of the cuff. Typically you want no more room than the width of your index finger.
You also want to have the player press their fingers against the palm so you can see the outlines. Make sure their pinky finger is at least 3/4” of the way into the pinky slot of the glove finger. To determine if the glove is too small, take your fingers and feel along the inner cuff of the glove just after the palm material. Make sure the player’s palm is not spilling over the material and onto the cuff. You also want to look at the fingers of the glove, and make sure the player’s fingers to fit in each finger slot, but they should not be pressed up against the edge or touching the gussets.
Sizing Hockey Gloves (Full-Grown Players)
When sizing for true size (no growth room) using the above measurement, round measurements less than 0.5 down to the next whole number. If the measurement ends in .5 or higher, round up to the nearest whole number.
Making Sure Your Hockey Gloves Fit (Full-Grown Players)
To ensure your hockey gloves fit properly, you want to take a look at two things.
