For the goaltender seeking a skate with pro features at a fraction of the cost, the Reactor 7000 may be what you’re after. The 7000 has a fantastic feel thanks to a 3D anaformable ultra lightweight tech mesh construction, in conjunction with comfort foam placed beneath the foot bed as well as an extended felt tongue; a flexible ankle collar and padded ankle also contribute to that high level of comfort. Internally, the 7000 is lined with a hydrophobic synthetic liner that keeps the foot dry during gameplay and reduces bacteria build-up over time. Lastly, the cowling included is Bauer’s extremely successful Vertexx 2.0 model including a traditional 4mm stainless steel blade and reinforced cut-out.
