Warrior had promised an incredibly light stick for their 2019 limited release Fantom QRE intermediate hockey stick and they far exceeded expectations. At 360 grams, this is one of the lightest sticks we’ve ever come across. Picking up the Fantom is a first impression you won’t forget. It’s perfectly balanced and sits effortlessly in your hands.
Naturally, creating a stick this light means using ultra premium materials. The Enigma Carbon is a new 25k flat weave that boasts ultra-lightweight properties as well as a enhanced durability and longer pop life. This is the first time we’ve seen the Enigma Carbon in a Warrior stick and a step above the Minimus Carbon we’ve seen in recent Warrior launches.
As part of the Covert line, the Fantom QRE features Warrior’s Edge Taper known for it’s snappy release. The Fantom is built for speed. The loading mechanism is catered toward wrist and snapshots with power being generated by the tapered lower shaft.
True 1 Shadow Feel
A true 1-piece construction with new layering process combined with the Enigma Carbon is really what makes this stick special. The term Shadow Feel truly embodies what this stick is all about. The stick is a vehicle to move as fast as possible and launch pucks.
True low-kick. The aggressive taper puts this on the extreme side of the low kick profile.
True one-piece construction. No moulding or joints. Built from tip to toe.
No official information from Warrior, but our testing indicated the blade is extra stiff.
Diagonal tactile strips along the side walls. Gapped horizontal strips along the top side and smooth finish along the bottom of the shaft. Standard non tack grip finish for a strong hold with easy hand repositioning.
Rounded corners with flat side walls.
