The True XC9 Z-Palm gloves are made with an improved tapered fit that is designed to take the shape of the player's hand. This tapered fit works with an adjustable flexing cuff to provide a custom protective fit while maintaining complete wrist mobility.
The exterior of the glove is made with pro nylon materials for both breathability and flexible when worn. The fingers of the glove are cut with three breaks from the index to the ring finger and two on the pinky. True also utilizes their Trueflex+ lock thumb to avoid hyperextension of the joint and protect against slashes while still offering a full range of motion.
The True XC9 protects your hands with 24mm EPP foam, that?s 4 extra millimetres of protection compared to the industry standard, as well as an additional 1mm of PE protection to protect from high energy impacts. This protection is identical to that enjoyed by the True Hockey fleet of NHL players. On the inside of the glove, the nylon liner is treated with a Microban Antimicrobial sytem to help reduce the growth of odor causing bacteria by up to 99.99%.
Saving the best feature of the glove for last, the XC9 Pro gloves feature True's Z-Palm. This palm features a zipper at the top of the gussets allowing it to be easily interchanged or replaced when need be. True Hockey offers 5 different models of palm (sold separately), all able to be quickly installed at a moments notice. The standard palm, Z-Stnd, features a 1mm AX Suede base with a 0.6mm Pro-Grade Clarino overlay for traditional comfort and feel.
True also offers the following palms: Z-Pro for ultimate feel, Z-Fit for ultimate feel, Z-Grip for ultimate control, and Z-Power for ultimate durability.
