This material has been integrated to improve the longevity of the elbow pads by having a solid and durable outer construction. Nylon is designed to keep the elbow pads shape for longer, while also providing a layer of protection from cuts and impacts. Sherwood also included an abrasion guard which is a resistant material that increases the durability in key areas.

Bicep Protection

The biceps are protected with Sherwood’s Nitrex impact foam. Nitrex is a shock mitigating foam that is designed for repeat impacts. Meaning it absorbs impacts and disperses force away from players, which results in helping keep them protected from impacts and injuries.

Construction

The Photon Pro elbow pads feature a two-piece construction. This unique design features two separate parts to ensure the perfect balance between mobility, comfort, and protection. This design allows the players to be protected while keeping the padding in place. These elbow pads also feature Featherlite XT, which is designed to provide elite-level, long-lasting impact protection.

Elbow Caps

The durable plastic elbow cap construction features molded Nitrex foam that anatomically fits around your elbow, and sits nicely in place with the use of a donut hole.
