The Bauer Vapor X900 goal stick combines the benefits of composite and foam core goal sticks. The X900 is made with a composite paddle and shaft, ensuring the durability of the stick. While the exterior looks like a composite, the X900 features a Balsa wood core, to increase the stick?s dampening properties for a traditional foam core feel. Arch paddle geometry creates a flat face for the paddle for better rebound control, and better balance in the goalie?s stance and while puck handling. For a better feel for the puck, Bauer uses low-density foam in the blade; INNEGRA? reinforcement secures the outer wrap of the blade, for more consistent passes. GRIPTAC is used on the paddle shoulder for full control of the stick.
