The new line of Vapor skates has given an unquestionably valuable gift to skate buyers that are not looking to break the bank to get a quality pair of skates. The new Bauer Vapor X700 skate features a quarter package consisting of fiber composite+ upper with x-rib pattern, which is a considerable upgrade from the 2015 Vapor X700 skate that had a tech mesh nylon construction. Long story short? You get a more durable and better performing skate at a much better price point than in years past.
Moving to the inside of the skate, the new X700 will also include Bauer?s popular Hydra Max liner to assist in keeping the boot lightweight and dry to improve the longevity of the skate. There is anatomical heel and ankle support to improve fit and stability within the boot coupled with lightweight anaform foam ankle pads.
The new edition of the Vapor X700 has a Form-Fit 3-piece 48oz tongue with high-density metatarsal guard for additional protection and a Form-Fit+ footbed with stabilizer grip. Finally, the X700 will come on Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holders and LS1 runner, which is a step down from LS2, but still provides a better edge and performance than the Super Stainless runner.
