Are you looking to move from more of an entry-level skate to something more advanced? Not lacing them up as much anymore? Looking to save some cash, but still get a quality pair of skates? Whatever your situation is, the latest Bauer Vapor X500 skate will fit your needs.
While foot locking technology has been the name of the game for higher-end models, entry-level and mid-range skates have seen considerable boot construction upgrades. The Vapor X500 has moved from tech-mesh nylon to reinforced Trueform tech PU giving the boot added stability and reduces the amount of wasted energy with each stride. After popular reviews, the hydrophobic liner continues to be used in the X500 skate reducing bacteria growth within the liner. 1-piece injected heel/ankle core support increases stability and the anaform foam ankle pads add just the right amount of comfort.
The anatomical 40oz 2 piece felt tongue with metatarsal padding will keep your foot protected in the skate, but not sacrifice the overall fit either. The Vapor X500 will be using Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holders, which is the cheapest skate in the Vapor line to do so if you are looking for easy trigger release of the runner. The new edition of the X500 will be included with TUUK super stainless steel as the stock runner.
