Some goalies say that a blocker is a blocker, by the Brian's G-NETik 4 senior goalie blocker seeks to change that. Using Brian's highest quality E-foams, and their features like the Boa System, the G-NETik IV is the perfect example of what a goalie wants in a blocker.

CANADIAN MADE PRO LEVEL

The liberal use of Efoam in the GNETik 4 makes the blocker extremely lightweight in hand as well as providing the protection that one would expect from a pro level blocker. The high level Canadian Made construction continues on to the MSH3 palm to ensure a good grip on the still at all times.

BOA SYSTEM

This bindingless blocker also features a Boa system at the wrist to allow for precise adjustment of the blocker, and the best possible fit for any goalie. The precise adjustment of the wrist as well as the beveled front edge allow for easy transition into the paddle down position.

Goalie Blockers Sizing

More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.

Which Blocker Size is for you?
The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.

Analyzing the Blocker Fit
It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.

Which Hand Do I Need?
Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.

    Blocker Hands Simplified
  • Regular - Blocker worn on your Right Hand
  • Full Right - Blocker worn on your Left Hand
