The Bauer GX Senior Goalie Blocker are the entry level offering from Bauer in the GSX line. The GX goalie blocker is constructed with a Low-Density Blocking Board, Adjustable Wrist Closure, and Nash Palm material.
External Material The entirety of the exterior of this blocker is covered in a synthetic leather material to give good durability, as well as some good performance at this price point.
Internals The blocker board on the GX is a low-density one-piece material. This will protect the back of the hand well, and provide control and consistency in deflecting pucks when making a save.
Palm Material The palm on the GX blocker is a nash palm with stretch mesh gussets for breathability in the blocker.
Side Hand Protection The side hand protection is the same low-density blocking board material used in the main blocking surface.
Cuff The cuff on the Bauer GX blocker has a velcro closure, enabling a well fitting blocker, but allowing mobility and freedom to move and adjust.

Goalie Blockers Sizing
More times than not, the fit of your Goalie Blocker is often overlooked. This is likely the result of the limited size availability compared to other pieces of equipment, however a properly sized Blocker provides you the protection and stick control you trust.
Which Blocker Size is for you? The first step to finding the correct Blocker size is to utilize the “heel-of-palm-to-tip-of-middle-finger” measurement. This measurement will generally send you to the appropriate size you need.
Analyzing the Blocker Fit It is important to ensure that the fingers tips lie close to the seam of the palm, or within 0.5” if the Blocker is for a young growing goaltender. Next you want to ensure the adjustable wrist strap goes directly across the wrist bone, and has minimal to no interference with your chest protector. The goaltender should be able to swivel their wrist to accommodate a range of save selections without any restrictions from the chest protector. You also want to ensure that the goalie can maintain control of their stick in addition to being able to maneuver the blocker when handling the puck.
Which Hand Do I Need? Figuring out which hand you need for your Blocker can be slightly confusing. Goalies generally refer to themselves as "REGULAR" or "FULL RIGHT". Below is the easiest way to simplify which hand you need.
