If you’ve found your way to this section of our site it might mean that something wasn’t perfect with your recent purchase…or maybe you’re just making sure that our return policy is customer friendly.
We want you to be stoked on your purchase so if for any reason you need to return or exchange it, here’s the info necessary to get it back to us:
Return Policy (for online purchases from thehockeyshop.com)
All Returns or Exchanges must be completed within 60 days of the original shipping date for replacement, refund or store credit. All items must be unused and the original packaging and tags need to be included with returned items.
PLEASE NOTE: If a customer places an order for $280.00 that has a shipping charge of $19.98 and chooses to return it, the customer is responsible for the difference between the charge of $19.98 and the actual cost of shipping. In the below example, the Actual Shipping Charge was $27.98. The Total refund would then become $272.00 (See table below). We do not charge a re-stocking fee for returned products at The Hockey Shop.
Returns on Order with Paid Shipping
PLEASE NOTE: If a customer places an order for $280.00 and received "Free Freight" and chooses to return it, the customer is responsible for actual cost of the original shipment to them. In the below example, the Actual Shipping Charge was $27.98. The Total refund would then become $252.02 (See table below). We do not charge a re-stocking fee for returned products at The Hockey Shop.

How To Return Or Exchange An Item:
1. Please call us on our toll free number (1-800 567-7790) or email us for a Return Authorization Number. All packages that are shipped to us without a Return Authorization Number will not be accepted without prior approval.
2. Please fill out our Return/Exchange Form – CLICK HERE to print the form. Make sure to include a copy of your invoice along with this form.
3.Parcels may be shipped back in the original boxes; otherwise any plain unmarked box may be used. Please make sure there are no previous shipping labels or other information on the outside of the parcel. Return items with original packaging to:

Customers are responsible for freight charges both ways on all returns. We will not accept any parcels freight collect or COD. We will process your refund by the original method of payment within 7 days of receipt of the returned package.
If returning a parcel within Canada, please visit your local Canada Post Office, Greyhound Shipping Office, or UPS Service Center for all parcels.
If returning a parcel from the US or internationally, please send all parcels excluding sticks or shafts with USPS (United States Postal Service). If you are returning sticks or shafts they must be shipped via UPS.
4. Please mark the Return Authorization Number clearly on the outside of the package.
Depending on what country you live in, the shipping company may apply additional custom charges applied to returning parcels. In order to avoid these unnecessary charges please refer to the following chart for the best method of return shipment or call us for return shipping instructions.
Any product that has been used and is alleged to be defective will be subject to inspection/approval by the vendor/manufacturer in order to receive a refund. Their decisions are final.
Custom and/or special order items are not exchangeable or returnable.
Jocks and undergarments are non-returnable/ non-exchangeable for any reason.

Retail Store Return Policy (for in store purchases from The Hockey Shop Source for Sports)
If you’re not completely in love with your purchase, we ask that you return it unused and in the original packaging, along with the receipt, within 60 days from the date of purchase for refund or store credit (custom and/or specialty orders are excluded).
