Shipping & Delivery

When will my order be shipped?
At thehockeyshop.com, we strive to have items shipped within 24 hours (or by Monday if the order is placed during the weekend). If an item is not in stock we will notify you when we receive the order to see how you would like to proceed. Some items such as custom lettering that are personalized may take 1-2 weeks lead time.

How long will it take to arrive?
Although shipping times vary based on final destination, most packages shipped across Canada will arrive within 7 business days. All orders across Canada will be shipped via Purolator. Orders within western Canada generally take 2-3 business days, central Canada shipments take 3-5 business days and east coast shipments take approximately 5-7 business days. Our policy on Next Day Air ("Express") or 2nd Day Air ("Expedited") shipping requires that the request be made by calling 1-800-567-7790 to place your order. If no call is made we will ship Purolator Ground as the default. Please note that some very rural areas within Canada may be shipped via Canada Post based on our discretion, as delivery times are the same if not faster by this method due to your specific area. We do ship to PO Boxes, however, it is recommended to supply a physical street address as PO Boxes may have a delivery delay up to 10 days.

Order Tracking?
The night that your order is shipped out, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to the Purolator website where you can track your order. If you do not give us an email address, you will have to call the day after your order was shipped and we will have your tracking number in the system. Shipping Costs?
All shipping charges within North America are based on a flat rate system. Please see the tables below for rates specific to your area.

PLEASE NOTE: Some items carry additional oversized shipping charges. These charges will be added to the base rate shipping cost. (Ex. Sticks, Wheel Bags, Leg Pads, etc.)

30 Day Price Protection Guarantee
The Hockey Shop works hard to ensure that our prices are highly competitive. If we lower our price on an item within 30 days from the date we shipped the product, be sure to let us know and we’ll be happy to credit your original payment method the difference. Due to ever changing inventory, this policy is in effect on products where we still have the exact item in stock. (ex. same size, curve, hand, flex, color, etc.)
