Chad has been with us right from the start, and the past 21 years have provided him with an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the hockey industry. Brad joined forces with The Hockey Shop over 13 years ago, and his commitment and passion for the company and the hockey community as a whole have been crucial to the success and development of The Hockey Shop family.
Darryl Holt- Sales Floor Manager
Darryl boasts over 13 years experience in all aspects of the hockey retail industry. As our Floor Manager, he draws from his extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of our massive 17,000 square-foot superstore.
Cecil Weir- Sharpening & Repair Manager
Cecil brings over 13 years of experience to the table, and is currently Manager of the Sharpening & Repair division of The Hockey Shop. Professionally trained by both Blademaster and Blackstone, and an expert in all aspects of skate and equipment repair, Cecil is a highly skilled and esteemed member of The Hockey Shop team.
Geoff Oleschuk- Ordering Manager
In his 4 years with The Hockey Shop, Geoff’s knowledge of the sport and his attention to detail have quickly established him as an invaluable part of the The Hockey Shop Team. Geoff now heads up the purchasing and ordering department of The Hockey Shop.
Jesse Mallette- Ordering Specialist
Jesse has been with The Hockey Shop for over 4 years. With long-time involvement in the hockey community, including playing Junior hockey in British Columbia, Jesse’s adaptability and passion for the sport quickly enabled him to become a highly qualified and integral part of The Hockey Shop team.
Jeff Steele- Skate Specialist
Jeff has been an important member of The Hockey Shop Family for over 9 years. He has played hockey at a professional level in Europe, and his experience on and off the ice have contributed to his becoming a highly qualified Skate Specialist.
Daryl Fowler- Skate Specialist
Daryl has been a member of The Hockey Shop for over 4 years. He is hard working employee who leads by example, which he models off his Western Canadian National Championship he won as Captain of the Richmond Sockeyes Junior B hockey team. Very personable and loves to talk hockey.
Jas Rai- Skate Specialist
Jas has been a valuable asset to The Hockey Shop for upwards of 4 years. Jas grew up locally and played hockey with Simon Fraser University, and has parlayed his long-time involvement with the hockey community into becoming one of our top Skate Specialists.
Corey Rocha- Goal Specialist
Corey is indeed related to Eric, and alongside his brother, he has made a noticeable impact since joining The Hockey Shop over 4 years ago. Corey is heavily involved in the local hockey community, and has efficiently translated his experience excelling as a goaltender into playing a vital role in one of the largest retail goaltending departments in the world.
Jarid Warren- Custom Goal Order Specialist
Jarid has been working with The Hockey Shop for over 4 years, and has been heavily involved in the local hockey community for years beyond that. Jarid is currently our Custom Goal Order Specialist, and beyond his comprehensive product and fitting knowledge, he also one of our primary goaltending repair experts.
Sam Horlick – Helmet Specialist
Focus on safety and protection has become increasingly important to players of all ages and skill levels as the game of hockey continues to evolve into a faster, harder-hitting contact sport. Sam has been with The Hockey Shop for over 4 years, and has excelled as our top Helmet Specialist. Sam keeps our staff and customers up to date on the latest developments in helmet safety technology, and continues to raise awareness regarding proper helmet and facial and protection.
Aaron Yeung- Jersey Department Manager
Aaron has over 5 years experience with custom sewing and lettering with The Hockey Shop, and is currently Manager of our Jersey and Lettering Department. Whether its team jerseys, authentic NHL twill name and number kits, custom sewing and jerseys, heat pressing, or logo vectorization- Aaron is your expert opinion and reliable source for all things jersey related.

He is currently Manager of our Mail Order department, and proficiently oversees The Hockey Shop online sales, domestic and international orders, returns, exchanges, and beyond.
